NEOFYTOS is a cultural organization working at the intersection of contemporary art, disability culture, research and access.
Its work challenges confinement, established perceptions and the social barriers that shape disabled lives.
The organization is named in memory of Neophytos Antoniou. The name connects the experience of confinement with the idea of the neophyte: new, newly born, a new beginning.
The organization’s stated goals include the establishment of “Disability culture”, combating confinement through cultural creation, educational interventions and lifelong learning, international cooperation, research and disability awareness.

The DIS — Together We Are Better Art & Culture Disability Festival is a European cultural initiative born in Larnaca in 2024 and expanded across Cyprus in 2026.

Accessibility is a core design requirement. The site is designed around semantic structure, keyboard access, visible focus, scalable text, strong contrast, reduced motion, descriptive alternatives, captions/transcripts and predictable navigation.
It is intended to support blind and low-vision users, deaf and hard-of-hearing users, people with motor disabilities, people with cognitive or learning disabilities and people with photosensitivity. Final accessibility claims should be validated through automated checks and real disability-led testing.
