A European festival for art, culture and disability.

The 2026 edition brings performances, workshops, an academic conference and accessibility initiatives together across Cyprus under the festival’s principle: Together we are better.
DIS — European Art and Culture Disability Festival was born in Larnaka in 2024 and grew from Neofytos’ work toward a European platform for disability arts and culture.
The programme brings together performances, artistic participation, workshops, educational activity, conversation, conference formats and accessibility initiatives. It is designed as a meeting place rather than a single event: artists, disabled people, audiences, researchers, organizations and volunteers participate in the same cultural ecology.

The final website should preserve the open calls, artist information, programme, collaborators, photographs, accessibility information and historical documentation of each edition. The DIS initiative expanded across Cyprus in 2026, reinforcing its European direction.
Principle
Together we are better. Access is treated as a creative condition of the festival, not as an administrative add-on.
